Sample Itinerary for the Lemosho Route (8 Days)

Day 1: Arrival in Moshi

Arrive in Moshi for a pre-climb briefing, equipment check, and final preparations.

Day 2: Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp

  • Elevation Gain: 2,100m to 2,780m
  • Start your trek through lush rainforests.

Day 3: Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp

  • Elevation Gain: 2,780m to 3,500m
  • Enjoy stunning views as you transition to moorland.

Day 4: Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp

  • Elevation Gain: 3,500m to 3,850m
  • Explore the breathtaking Shira Plateau.

Day 5: Shira 2 Camp to Barranco Camp

  • Elevation Gain: 3,850m to 3,900m
  • Traverse the Lava Tower and descend to Barranco Camp.

Day 6: Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp

The Cost Includes

  • Pick-up or Drop-off service from and to Airport(in our own vehicle)
  • Transportation to and from!!
  • Food all along the trip(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and a cup of coffee or tea) and accommodations during the trip in hotels with family environment
  • Transportation, food, accommodation and insurance of Guide during the trip
  • Down jacket, all-season sleeping bag, duffel bag and trekking map(in case if you don’t have your own. Down jacket, sleeping bag and duffel bag must be returned after completion of the trip)
  • First Aid Medical Kit(Your guide will carry the Medical Kit but we also advise to bring yourself for your own use, as far as possible)
  • All the required permits and paperwork
